Real estate in San Miguel County continues to break all the records, both in terms of dollar volume and number of sales. Dollar volume of real estate sold in 2005 countywide was an unbelievable $725 million, up 17% from 2004's record of $617 million. Mountain Village sales alone jumped 21% in dollar volume from 2004 to 2005. By the 3rd quarter of 2006, compared with the 3rd quarter of 2005, sales continued to be up by 14%.
